This lively diptych was inspired by the bright yellow shades of sunflowers and the clear blue sky. Sunflowers have been used for nourishment, oil, and healing for centuries. These flowers possess a fascinating trait known as heliotropism, which means they follow the sun's movement during the day. If everyone focused on facing the sun, we could live differently.
“No one could ever be sad when they're wearing yellow. Figure I'd give it a try. Sport it from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. Lately, I'm not going to lie I've been feeling blue. I figured it was time to feel something new.”
